Prayer for the Faithful Departed

God Our Father

You bring us to birth by your Almighty Power, and guide us by your unfathomable providence. At your behest, we return to dust.

I understand that for those who die believing in you, their lives do not come to an end, but are changed. I pray for late Mrs Njideka Odom and all those who have died in the hope of rising again.

May they, in company with Christ, our Mother Mary and the hosts of heaven, enter into the delight of Paradise. May the light of Your sacred countenance always shine upon them.

May the soul of late Mrs Njideka Odom and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
